BLOOMINGTON -- Arline Lene, 87, of Bloomington, formerly of Murdock, died Aug. 21. The service was Friday at Eden Lutheran Church in Riverside, Calif. Memorials are preferred to the church or the American Heart Association. She was born Feb. 20, 1918, in Murdock to Ferdinand and Minnie Johnson. She attended business college in Minneapolis. She married Russell Lene on Feb. 19, 1944. They moved to California in 1953. She worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Eden Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughter: Marianne Wunderlich; son-in-law: Herb Wunderlich, daughter-in-law: Claudia Lene; one grandson; five stepgranddaughters; eight step-greatgranddaughters; and one brother: Robert Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son: James Lene; one sister and one brother.
