GRANITE FALLS -- Arlys Joan Kranitz, 69, of Granite Falls died Thursday at the Granite Falls Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Granite Falls Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Granite Falls.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls, with a prayer service at 8:30 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
She was born March 19, 1937, in Bemidji to Sanford and Florence (Kolkemo) Ellingson and Wynston Wynne. She graduated from the Granite Falls High School and attended Mankato State.

She married Frank Kranitz on March 2, 1957, in Granite Falls.
She is survived by her husband; daughters: Kim Kranitz-Savig (and Charlie Savig) of Maynard, Kelly (and Randy) Johnson of Sacred Heart, Karri (and Michael) Berreau of Benson; seven grandchildren; and three half sisters: Wanda Wynne (and Craig Marken) of Tucson, Ariz., Patty (and Willie) Stromseth of Bemidji, and Rosie (and Greg) Tacheny of Cold Spring.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
