Amy Armstrong and Matthew Bomstad are engaged to be married Sept. 19 at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Bemidji.
Armstrong is the daughter of Darla Carlo of St. Paul and Shawn Armstrong of Brainerd.
She is a 1999 graduate of Pequot Lakes High School and a 2006 graduate of Northwest Technical College in Bemidji. She is a licensed practical nurse at Merit Care Clinic and Havenwood Care Center, both in Bemidji.
Bomstad is the son of Mike and Sharon Bomstad of Willmar.
He is a 1999 graduate of Willmar Senior High School and a 2004 graduate of Bemidji State University. He is employed by T&K Outdoors and Buena Vista Ski Area, both of Bemidji.
