STARBUCK -- Arnold Joel Ronnie, 89, of Starbuck died Monday at his home.
The service will be at 11 a.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Starbuck. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Starbuck Funeral Home.

He was born Nov. 15, 1916, in Walden Township to Martin and Olina (Johnson) Ronnie. He attended School District 45 through the eighth grade. He then worked on the farm.
He married Gladys Flaten on June 28, 1945. They lived on the home place until 1948, when they moved to the Christ Overby farm.
He was a member of Immanuel Church and held several offices. He served on the Starbuck School Board for several years.
He is survived by his daughters: Cheryl (and Dennis) Nousaine, Ardis (and Gary) Gillund; four grandchildren; and one sister: Sylvia Schram.
He was preceded in death by his wife; four sisters and two brothers.
