Phyllis Wodasch puts the final touch Tuesday on decorations for today’s Ash Wednesday services at Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Wodasch and other volunteers with the Catholic church’s environment group created a desert-themed arrangement near the altar. Ash Wednesday services will be at noon and 5:30 p.m. at St. Mary and at 5:30 p.m. at Church of Our Lady of the Lakes in Spicer and 7 p.m. at Church of St. Thomas More in Lake Lillian.
