Leah Ashburn, a sophomore from Hector, was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference's Volleyball Player of the Week Tuesday.
She led Southwest Minnesota State last week with a .391 hitting percentage in four matches at the Premier Tournament in Denver with 59 kills in 115 attempts, had 23 blocks and was named to the all-tournament team.
The Mustangs (6-2) are ranked No. 11 in Division II.
