WILLMAR -- A 57-year-old Willmar man was arrested on assault charges Wednesday night along the 1300 block of 39th Street Northwest.
The 57-year-old allegedly assaulted an 18-year-old boy and his 50-year-old mother around 7:25 p.m. at an apartment. Both the 18-year-old and his mother are from Willmar. The man who was arrested hit the 18-year-old with over the head with a chair.
The 57-year-old was arrested on charges of second- and fifth-degree assault and domestic assault.
