A Litchfield woman was pinned under an ATV Thursday afternoon south of Litchfield and transported to the hospital as a result of sustained injuries.
Doris Johnson, 62, was operating a 2009 Polaris XP 550 on a field road when she turned sharply, causing the 4-wheeler to roll over and pin her underneath, according to a release from the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Litchfield Rescue and Cosmos Ambulance responded to the accident at 5:10 p.m. on the 16000 block of County State Aid Highway 1 in Greenleaf Township.
The ATV sustained minor damage and Johnson was transported by Cosmos Ambulance to Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
