GROVE CITY - A 47-year-old Atwater man was taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained Sunday when a large tree he was cutting down fell on him.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Andrew Peterson was cutting the tree along the 51000 block of 230th Street in Acton Township.
The Sheriff’s Office, Grove City Rescue, Gold Cross Ambulance and Life Link III Air Ambulance were called to the location around 2:15 p.m. Sunday.
