WILLMAR - Kandiyohi County Sheriff Dan Hartog said two male individuals were arrested late Wednesday evening for the murder of Lila Warwick, 79, of Willmar. They are Brok Nathaniel Junkermeier, 19, of Willmar, and a 16-year-old juvenile from Willmar.
Hartog said Junkermeier was booked into the Kandiyohi County Jail for second-degree murder and first-degree burglary. The 16-year-old was booked into the Prairie Lakes Youth Program Detention Facility in Willmar for liability crimes of another for second-degree murder and first-degree burglary.

Both individuals are pending court hearings for formal charges by the Kandiyohi County Attorney’s Office.
The sheriff’s office was called at 5:09 p.m. Monday to check on the welfare of Warwick, who lived in the 3000 block of U.S. Highway 12 East. When deputies arrived at the residence, they found Warwick deceased.
