WILLMAR -- Fadma Osman Tukaale, 28, of Willmar, was privately transported to Rice Memorial Hospital after a two-vehicle accident around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday at U.S. Highway 12 and Seventh Street Southwest.
Tukaale was driving a 1999 Chevy that collided with a 1998 Ford driven by Mark G. Hoecherl, 46, of Willmar. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.

NEW LONDON -- Mail tampering was reported around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday along the 10900 block of 199th Avenue Northeast. Some outgoing mail was missing and mail for other residents was in the citizen's box.

WILLMAR -- The theft of a DeWalt 12-volt drill was reported around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the AmericInn, 2404 U.S. Highway 12 E. The value of the tool was estimated at $100.
WILLMAR -- The theft of a coat, wallet and keys was reported around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday at Ridgewater College, 2101 15th Ave. N.W.
WILLMAR -- The theft of a motor vehicle was reported at 8 a.m. Wednesday along the 100 block of High Avenue Northeast. The vehicle was a 1995 GMC van.
