MADISON -- Five players had six-or-more kills for MACCRAY as the Wolverines picked up their first win of the season after upending Lac qui Parle Valley 25-16, 25-13, 26-28, 25-13 in a non-conference match Thursday.
Tory Brouwer paced the Wolverines (1-2) with 14 kills and Kari Caspers followed with 12. Danielle Goeman and Hilary Groothuis both piled up nine and Ashley Beseman pounded down six.
Brouwer also had six ace serves. Caspers also notched four ace serves and four ace blocks.
Kayla Rheingans had a teamhigh 10 kills for LQPV (1-2). C.J. Mahler served three aces.
