WILLMAR -- Lisa Nielsen and Hilary Groothuis had 13 points apiece to pace a group of five players that scored in double figures for Ridgewater as the Lady Warriors clipped the Concordia-Moorhead JV team 70-65 Tuesday.
The Lady Warriors overcame a 37-33 deficit at halftime by shooting 46 percent in the second half. Concordia-Moorhead was only 11-for-36 from the field in the second half.
Patina Queenan and Britney Glisczinski followed with 11 points apiece and Tara Thielke netted 10 more points for the Lady Warriors, who made more free throws (24) than Concordia-Moorhead attempted (22).
