Bald eagle ‘just browsing’

MONTEVIDEO - A photo of a bald eagle perched atop a vehicle at a Montevideo car dealership has generated a lively conversation among locals. Some people have joked that the raptor must be a car enthusiast.
The Montevideo Police Department recently received the unusual report that the juvenile bald eagle had taken its roost at Adam’s Motors, according to a post on the police department’s Facebook page Monday. The raptor reportedly remained on top of the vehicle for several hours before the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources captured it, determined that it was not injured and released the bald eagle into a wildlife area.
“He must have been car shopping,” one Facebook user posted on the Montevideo Police Department’s Facebook page.
“I guess he wanted that car and he was staying there to make sure no one took it,” another person joked.
