MILAN -- Barbara Jean Hilden, 69, of Milan died Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan. Interment will be in the Kviteseid Lutheran-Milan Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation will be this afternoon and evening, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

She was born Jan. 13, 1937, at Montevideo to Edward and Bertha (Beckman) Spray. As a young girl, she moved with her family to a farm east of Milan. She graduated from Milan High School in 1954. She worked in the bank in Milan for 13 years.
She married Glen Hilden on May 4, 1957, at Big Bend. They lived on a farm east of Milan, and she helped with farm work.
She served on the Milan School Board for several years, was active in 4-H, and a member of homemakers and caregiver group. She participated in the Bible study group at church.
She is survived by her husband; two children: Karen (and Orin) Freeman of Ethan, S.D., and Terry (and Laura) Hilden of St. Cloud; four grandsons; three brothers: Doug Spray of Montevideo, Dale (and Lorrie) Spray of Milan, and Paul (and Patee) Spray of Milan; and one sister: Eileen (Paul) Trelstad of Madison.
She was preceded in death by her father, and one son: Gary.
