SACRED HEART -- Barbara M. Haubrick, 68, of Brooklyn Park, formerly of Sacred Heart, died Monday after a year-long battle with lung cancer.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home in Brooklyn Center. Burial will be around 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Maynard Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

She was born April 18, 1938, in Sacred Heart to Virgil and Hazel Messerli.

She is survived by her husband: Robert; children: Kristi (and Mike) Nelson, Todd (and Mary) Haubrick; two grandchildren; her mother; and one brother: Doug (and Jane) Messerli.

She was preceded in death by her father.
