New London native Aaron Barber will sit out the rest of Nationwide Tour season due to tendonitis, according to his wife, Leah. His last tournament was Oct. 2 at the Oregon Classic, where he withdrew after six holes.
He is currently 41st on the Nationwide Tour with $111,219 earned in 21 tournaments. Had he continued to play, Barber may have qualified for the season-ending Tour Championship, where the top 20 finishers would earn a PGA Tour card for next season.
