Crystal Barker and Joshua Schjenken, both of Sacred Heart, are engaged to be married June 11 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart.
Barker is the daughter of Stan Barker of Glenwood and Pam Barker of Spicer.
She is a 2001 graduate of New London-Spicer High School in New London and is studying nursing at Ridgewater College in Willmar. She is employed by Renville Health Services in Renville as a certified nursing assistant.
Schjenken is the son of Bob and Tammy Schjenken of Sacred Heart.
He is a 2001 graduate of Renville County West High School in Renville and a 2003 graduate of Alexandria Technical College where he studied small engine mechanics. He is employed by the Renville County Highway Department.
