ST. CLOUD -- Barry Donald Gronli, 35, of St. Cloud, formerly of Spicer, died Monday near Kimball from injuries received in an auto accident.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer. Burial will be at the Spicer City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the start of service at the church. Arrangements are with the Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer.
He was born May 19, 1972, in Willmar to Donald and Joy (Liestman) Gronli. He grew up in Spicer and Laurel, Mont. In 1985, he returned to Spicer and graduated in 1990 from New London-Spicer High School. He worked for a few years with his father in the masonry business. He attended Willmar Community College and graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in accounting.
He married Carrie Swanson in 1994. They later divorced. For the past 10 years, he was employed with the Larson Allen firm in St. Cloud.

He was a past member of Faith Lutheran Church and attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud.
He is survived by a special friend: Lori Brown of St. Cloud; four children: Mitchel, Austin, Matthew and Alicia Gronli, all of Sartell; parents: Donald (and Kari) Gronli of Fergus Falls and Joy (and Jim) Allen of Phoenix; three siblings: Corey Gronli of Spicer, Chris (and Jenny) Gronli of Owatonna and Angela (and Derrick) Mumm of Paynesville; three stepbrothers: Wesley Johnson of Duluth, Desi Johnson of Fergus Falls and Elliot (and Sarah) Johnson of St. Cloud; and a grandmother: Dorothy Gronli of New London.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents.
