GLENWOOD -- Paynesville's John Hemingson struck out 12 Minnewaska batters on the way to a 7-1 win in West Central North baseball action Tuesday.

Hemingson pitched a complete game, giving up one run on six hits and walking two.

The Bulldogs (3-0, 5-0) recorded nine hits and scored five runs in the top of the third inning to erase the Lakers' 1-0 lead.

Hemingson, Alex Naujokas and Trent Hansen had two hits each. Hemingson doubled and drove in two runs.

Aaron Kessler had two hits to lead Minnewaska (1-2, 4-2). Jon Hoffmann took the loss, giving up six unearned runs on seven hits and striking out six.
