MINNEAPOLIS -- Four Minnewaska Area pitchers limited Benson to two hits and the Lakers went on to a 9-3 non-conference win at the Metrodome Thursday.
Aaron Kessler, Cass Kreitlow, Jon Hoffmann and David Butler had two hits apiece for the Lakers. Hoffmann had a double and a triple.
Hoffmann earned the win in relief of starter Tyler Davis.
