MORRIS -- Yellow Medicine East scored five unearned runs in the seventh inning to pull away from Morris, 7-3, in West Central South Conference baseball action Thursday.
Luke Berg pitched a complete game for the win. He allowed just three hits, gave up three runs, struck out 10 and walked six. He also had one of YME's four hits, a double, and drove in one run.
The Sting (1-1, 1-1) led 2-1 after six innings. The Tigers (0-2, 0-2) plated two runs in the bottom of the seventh.
Andy Lembcke doubled and drove in all three Morris runs.

A.J. Frederiksen's line drive over first base drove in three runs to cap a six-run fifth inning for Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City. The hit, which was just inside the foul line, came off Zach Thissen who had just relieved losing pitcher Aaron Pauling.
Ben Ruter's three-run homer in the third inning boosted MACCRAY into a 4-2 lead.
Winning pitcher Mike Martin had control trouble, but hung on to go the distance. He scattered seven hits and seven walks, but helped himself out of trouble several times with eight strikeouts.

Josh Cunningham scored four times and doubled for ACGC (3-1).
Matt Condon rapped a two-run single for the Wolverines in the sixth. MACCRAY pitchers gave up 12 walks.
