WILLMAR-Beams for the Kandiyohi County Road 5 bridge overpass at Minnesota Highway 23 are scheduled to be set the week of Jan. 16. Traffic will be held in each direction while the beams are set. The approximate hold time will be 15 minutes.
The Highway 23/Kandiyohi County Road 5 project is an effort to improve safety at the intersection of Highway 23 and Kandiyohi County 5. This location has experienced a higher than expected crash rate, making it a sustained crash location.
The approximate construction cost is $3 million.
