RENVILLE -- Beatrice Viola Kortgard, 92, of Renville died Thursday at Granite Falls Hospital. The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Renville. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service in Renville.
She was born June 19, 1913, in Renville to Ole and Clara (Gustavson) Corbel. She lived in the Renville area 1943.
She married Walter Kortgard on Nov. 27, 1943, in Renville. They farmed together in the Sacred Heart area until 1976, when they retired and moved to Renville.

She is survived by her daughters: Rosemary Kortgard (and Jim Crockarell) of North Oaks, Bonnie (and Charles) Birk of Red Wing; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister.
