WATERTOWN -- Beauford E. Hintze, 83, of Watertown, died Tuesday, at the Elim Nursing Home.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at the Watertown Evangelical Free Church with burial in the Watertown Public Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.
He was born Dec. 18, 1923 in Oldham, S.D. to Ernest and Annie (Olson) Hintze.

He grew up in Atwater and graduated from Atwater High School in the early 1940's.
He married Lila Helgens on Feb. 27, 1950, in Decorah, Iowa. He worked for the Minneapolis Public Schools.
He is survived by his wife, children David (and Denise) Hintze of St. Louis Park and Dianne (and Dale) Nephew of Watertown; two grandchildren; and one sister, Loretta Jensen of Howard Lake.
He was preceded in death by four brothers.
