MADISON -- The Lac qui Parle Sheriff's Department reported Friday that there have been no new developments in the search for the 79-year-old Bellingham woman who failed to return home after receiving a blood transfusion at the Madison Hospital on Dec. 19.
Verene Raaf, 79, received a blood transfusion at the hospital and was believed to have headed home in her 2004 tan Buick LeSabre. She was expected to reach her home by 10 p.m., but did not show up.
Extensive ground and air searches conducted of the area between Madison and Bellingham have failed to show any sign of Raaf or her vehicle.
The Buick has a Minnesota license plate J-L-L-7-6-9. Anyone with information should call the Lac qui Parle Count Sheriff's Department at (320) 598-3720.
