BENSON -- Bennie R. Knutson, 89, of Benson died Wednesday at Swift County Benson Hospital in Benson as a result of a heart attack.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Swift Falls. Burial will be at St. Pauli Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the start of the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
He was born June 19, 1918, in Camp Lake Township, Swift County, to Robert and Bertha (Strand) Knutson. He grew up on the family farm in Camp Lake Township and attended school at District 14. He farmed his entire life.
He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Swift Falls where he served as an usher for many years.

He is survived by his twin brother: Rudolph Knutson of Benson; and sister: Elizabeth Freese of Benson.
He was preceded in death by four sisters.
