BENSON -- Jill Hagestuen of Benson worked her game to beat Carly Barber of Yellow Medicine East 6-4, 6-4 and give the Braves a 4-3 in West Central Conference tennis action Thursday.

BENSON -- Jill Hagestuen of Benson worked her game to beat Carly Barber of Yellow Medicine East 6-4, 6-4 and give the Braves a 4-3 in West Central Conference tennis action Thursday.

Hagestuen, undefeated in 11 matches at 1-singles, mixed up her shots and took her time in the win, getting the last varsity point for Benson.

Mackenzie Weber at 2-singles, Emillie Johnson-Valerie Staam at 1-doubles and Abby Fragodt-Olivia Breen at 2-doubles also won for the Braves.
