Pro drivers will be at Lake Hassel, six miles north of Benson on State Highway 29, on Jan. 21-22 for World PowerSports Association Xtreme (oval) Ice Racing.
From 50 to 150 riders are anticipated, according to Brent Hill of the Northern Lights Trails Snowmobile Club, sponsor of the first-time event.
Radar Runs and Kids' Z-120 Pro-Ice racing is also scheduled.
Racing starts at 11 a.m. Saturday and noon Sunday.
