NEW LONDON - It was books galore Thursday evening at Prairie Woods Elementary School in New London. Students had the opportunity to purchase books at the Scholastic Book Fair and participate in Book Bingo with their families. Every bingo winner was awarded a book voucher for a free book from the book fair. The evening also had raffle drawings for books, prizes and certificates donated and purchased from the community. The event was sponsored by the Prairie Woods Elementary School and Library Title I program.
