ST. PAUL -- BOLD/Buffalo Lake-Hector returns to the same place as last season, the time with hopes of winning the Class AA consolation championship after disposing of Hibbing 34-22 in the consolation semifinals of the state wrestling tournament at Xcel Energy Center Friday.
BOLD/Buffalo Lake-Hector (26-6) will wrestle Scott West for fifth place at 10 a.m. today.
BOLD/Buffalo Lake-Hector trailed just once in the match, 4-0, after Hibbing's Mike Belich opened with a major decision.
The Warriors then reeled off six straight wins for a 26-4 advantage they would not relinquish.
Pat LeVasseur, who later advanced to the individual championship, started the streak with a pin at 112 pounds.

Tom Brenner won be decision at 119, Ross Neubauer earned a 29-second pin at 125, Chris Harmon won by decision at 130, Cole Neubauer won a decision at 135 and Mark Revier scored a major decision at 140.
Hibbing fought back with consecutive wins to close the gap to 26-13, but BOLD/BLH answered with consecutive decisions by Mark Pietig at 160 and Tom Elfering at 171. Brian Hagen also won a decision at 215 for the Warriors.
