GROVE CITY -- Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City shot 55 percent and rallied past Benson 82-77 in a West Central South Conference game Tuesday night.
Benson (1-1, 5-1), which suffered its first loss of the season, led by as many as 10 points in the first half before ACGC (1-1, 4-3) whittled in down to 39-35 at halftime.
The teams exchanged leads several times in the second half before Benson eventually went up by six points with seven minutes remaining.
ACGC then surged at the end and snapped a two-game losing streak.
Justin Schroeder paced the Falcons with 21 points and three steals. Jordan Tannerhad 18 points and four assists amd Joel Slinden eight points and seven rebounds.

For Benson, Daniel Fragodt sank 21 points to go along with six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Mitch Enderson added 14 points, Brett Collins 13 and Aaron Lee 11 .
