GROVE CITY -- True to their nickname, the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons like to "Let it Fly."

The ACGC gunners put up 25 shots from long range and made nine to control Buffalo Lake-Hector 68-60 in a non-conference boys basketball game Monday.

Josh Cunningham cast in three treys and Michael Martin, Micah Nordin and Jesse McCann two apiece.

Four teammates were also in double figures: Nordin with 12, Cunningham with 11 and Justin Schroeder and McCann with 10 each.

BLH trailed by as many as 19 in the second half, but consecutive treys by Joe Sparks fueled a rally which cut the ACGC lead to single digits. Luke Johnson led the Mustangs with 14 points followed by Matt Sandgren at 11.

BLH has lost eight straight since starting the season with two wins. ACGC has won six of its last eight and two in a row.
