GLENWOOD -- Minnewaska slowed the pace in the second half and brought Morris back to the back in West Central South boys basketball with a 58-52 win Thursday.
The Tigers led the league with a 2-0 record, but are now in a three-way tie for the top spot at 2-1.
After a 32-32 first half, Minnewaska erased a six-point second-half deficit by easing back on the tempo and grinding out possessions.
Shane Bosek paced the Lakers with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Pierce Peters added 14 points.
Lincoln Arnold scored 15 points to lead Morris. Chris Scott added 10 points.

The Bulldogs put up 43 points in the first half and took a 20-point lead into the break.
Jamison Wall led the way with 23 points for Paynesville. Nathan Nietfeld added a double-double of 14 points and 16 rebounds. Mitchell Marlow chipped in 15 points.
