DAWSON -- Down by 10 at halftime, the Canby Lancers used a 15-point second-half run to overtake Dawson-Boyd 59-52 in Camden Conference boys basketball on Monday.
The Blackjacks led at intermission 28-18, thanks largely to Ian Hansen's 5-for-5 performance from three-point range. Dawson-Boyd might have led by more in the physical battle but went 1-for-11 at the line.
In the second half, Dawson-Boyd's offense stalled with a 44-34 lead and the Lancers catapulted to a 49-44 advantage.
Brady Miller with 14 points and Travis Noorgard with 11 points and 11 rebounds led the Lancers (9-4, 14-4)
Hansen, who had 20 points by halftime, finished with 23. Four teammates scored six points each.

Shane Weller led five Jaguars in double figures with 17, followed by Mike Rodgers and Jackson Illies with 13 each, Jordan Beier at 11 and Jared McCleary with 10, plus eight rebounds. Rodgers had eight assists.
Benson trailed 35-16 at halftime and by as many as 21 in the second half. The Braves cut it to 10 before the Jaguars pulled away again.

Mitchell Kent hit a trio of three-pointers to finish with 17 points. Aaron Lindahl scored 16 points and had eight rebounds.
