Jason Fernholz banked a 13-footer at the buzzer to lift KMS (8-4, 14-8).
Dawson-Boyd (2-10, 6-16) held a 71-68 lead off an Ian Hansen three-pointer, but the Fighting Saints fought back to within one with eight seconds left.
The Blackjacks held an 11-point advantage in the second half.
Ferholz led KMS with 17 points, followed by Jared Johnson with 16, Paul Beckman with 12 and Sam Kavanagh with 10.

Joe Anderson of Dawson-Boyd led all scorers with 21 points. Jordan Dahl added 18 points and Matt Wold had 17.
