RENVILLE -- Two free throws lifted Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg into a four-way tie for the Camden North Conference lead with a 69-67 win over Renville County West Tuesday.
Justin Johnson was fouled with three seconds remaining and sank both tosses to cement the victory for the Fighting Saints (6-3, 12-6), who share the lead with MACCRAY, Lakeview and Central Minnesota Christian.
Jared Johnson led four KMS players in double figures with 15 points. Justin Johnson had 13 points, Jason Fernholz 12 and Sam Kavanagh 12.
Brent Jansen scored 18 points to lead the Jaguars (3-6, 5-11), followed by Mitch Schwindt's 16, Andy Erickson with 15 and Chad Mulder with 12.
