KERKHOVEN -- Justin Johnson led five Fighting Saints in double figures with 17 points as Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg pulled away from Dawson-Boyd late in the game for a 76-61 victory in Camden North boys basketball on Friday.
The Blackjacks led 37-36 at halftime, but were unable to hold the lead.
KMS moved into a tie for the conference lead with MACCRAY.
Nate Schlagel added 15 points for KMS and Sam Kavanagh 14 points, nine rebounds and four blocks. Taylor Freetly added 12 points and Cole Berget 10.
Matt Anderson scored 16 points for Dawson-Boyd, closely followed by Matt Wold with 14, Joe Anderson with 13 and Ian Hansen with 12, nine coming on three treys.

Nate Johannsen scored 14 points and nabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double to lead Renville County West (1-3, 2-6) to their first conference win of the season. Junior Ramirez controlled the offense for the Jaguars with six assists, while also posting four steals.
Derrick Bulthuis led Centrsl Minnesota Christian (0-4, 0-7) with 10 points, including a pair of three-pointers. Jordon Daugherty had eight points for CMCS. Jordan Zondervan and Andy Groen grabbed seven rebounds each.
