CANBY -- Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg couldn't make its three-point halftime score last, losing to Canby 50-42 in Camden Conference boys basketball action Thursday.
The Fighting Saints (4-5, 5-7) led 23-20 at haftime, but Canby controlled the second half, 30-19.
Justin Johnson scored 16 points to lead KMS. Nate Schlagel added eight.
Canby (4-5, 6-6), which plays in the South half of the conference, was led by Travis Nordgaard with 15 points.

With the help of 27 combined points from Joe Anderson (16) and Ian Hansen (11) in the second half, Dawson-Boyd rallied past the Vikings.
The Blackjacks (5-3, 5-4) were 14-for-27 from the field in the second half with half of their shots coming from beyond the arc. Dawson-Boyd sankl 10 three-pointers with Anderson and Hansen each canning four. Anderson finished with 23 points and Hansen 16.
