KERKHOVEN -- Lakeview knocked Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg out of first place in the Camden North Conference after posting a 82-78 win Friday.
KMS (5-3, 9-5) entered the game tied with Central Minnesota Christian for first in the loop.
Jason Fernholz netted a game-high 26 points for the Fighting Saints, who owned a six-point lead at one point in the second half. Justin Johnson followed with 11 points.

MACCRAY scored five points in the final minute of the first half to trim a 10-point deficit in half, then continued the surge in the second half, outscoring Canby 42-27 en route to winning for the seventh time in eight games.
Zach Thissen scored 13 of his 16 points in the second half and Matt Condon had 11 of his 16 in the second half, while also finishing with 11 rebounds. Andrew Meyer had 10 points.
The Wolverines (5-3, 8-5) also cashed 10-of-12 free throws in the second half.
Erik Stewart led Canby with 27 points.
