BELGRADE -- Jared McCleary scored 14 of his game-high 20 points in the second half and Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa knocked off Rockford 77-53 in a Central Minnesota Conference boys basketball game Thursday night.
Rockford (0-1, 2-4) has won the last five conference titles.
BBE (2-0, 7-1) bolted to a 9-0 lead and never looked back.
McCleary also had six rebounds, five steals, four assists and four blocked shots for the Jaguars. Shane Weller added 18 points and Mike Rodgers 11.
Antone Nelson led Rockford with 15 points.
