FOLEY -- New London-Spicer's 11th straight West Central North Conference boys basketball victory Thursday was one of its toughest as the Wildcats tipped Foley 78-71.
NLS (11-0, 21-1) led by three points with 1:27 left in the game before Skylar Wachter scored on a layup and the Wildcats made their foul shots the rest of the way. NLS sank 16-of-21 free throws.
Jake Voigt scored 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Foley.
Jackson Wright scored 16 points to lead the Wildcats. Jordan Radel added 15 points and 11 assists, Wade Powers had 15 points, 13 boards and seven blocked shots, and Chris Tengwall had 14 points and 12 rebounds.
