MORRIS -- New London-Spicer controlled most aspects of the paint Thursday, pounding Morris 77-59 in non-conference boys basketball action.

In the first half, Wade Powers scored 18 of his game-high 24 points. Teammate Chris Tengwall tallied 15 of his 17 points in the second half. Tengwall also claimed 19 boards and Powers had 10.

Jordan Radel followed with 13 points.

Taylor Witt led Morris with 13 points. Nate Lund had 10.
