NEW LONDON -- New London-Spicer found a way to shut down Minnewaska's top three scorers, which led to a 73-46 win in West Central North boys basketball action Thursday.

NEW LONDON -- New London-Spicer found a way to shut down Minnewaska's top three scorers, which led to a 73-46 win in West Central North boys basketball action Thursday.

The Wildcats (7-4, 12-6) held the Lakers' Jordan Johnsrud, Jordan Hendricks and Jon Hoffmann -- averaging a combined 37 points per game -- to a total of 12 points.

NLS blew open a 24-19 halftime lead by starting the second half with a 14-2 run.

Skylar Wachter paced the Wildcats with 15 points, followed by Chris Tengwall's 11.

Mike Anderson led the Lakers (6-5, 9-9) with 10 points.
