NEW LONDON -- New London-Spicer went on a 14-2 run to start the second half as New London-Spicer topped Minnewaska Area 72-61 in a West Central North Conference game Thursday night.
Todd Herman poured in 29 points for the Wildcats (4-0, 8-1), 17 of those coming in the first half. Herman also pulled down a team-high eight rebounds and had three assists and four steals.
Jordan Holte scored a game-high 31 points and had nine rebounds for Minnewaska Area (2-2, 3-6).
Tim Dreier added 14 points for NLS. Nick Carlson had nine points and Brian Pieh eight.
Jordan Hendricks netted 10 points and Scott Faehnrich nine for the Lakers.
