MELROSE -- New London-Spicer won its 21st straight game Tuesday after getting a game-high 24 points from Chris Tengwall in a 73-49 West Central North Conference win over Melrose.
The win also caps a perfect 14-0 mark in conference play. The Wildcats (24-1) will take on Montevideo, the West Central South champion, in the inter-conference championship game next Thursday in Montevideo.
The Class AA third-ranked Wildcats also got 16 points from Skylar Wachter and 15 more from Wade Powers.
