NEW LONDON -- Tim Dreier and Todd Herman netted 18 points each to lead New London-Spicer to a 79-58 West Central North Conference win over Albany Tuesday.
With about 10 minutes remaining, the Wildcats (5-0, 10-1) held Albany (2-2, 3-3) scoreless for four minutes to pull away.
Dreier paced the offense in the first half by scoring 14 points. Herman ignited the second-half charge by pumping in 16 points after being held to just two in the opening 18 minutes.
Justin Haats with 13 points and Brian Pieh 10 also scored in double figures for NLS, which got a combined 13 assists from Dreier and Herman.
