PAYNESVILLE -- Behind 24 points from Cory Nietfeld and 21 from Ben Moser, Paynesville rallied past New London-Spicer 69-58 to stay on top in the West Central North Conference race Friday night.
Nietfeld also led the Bulldogs (2-0, 5-1) with nine rebounds to go along with three steals.
For New London-Spicer (1-1, 4-2), which cashed 21-of-29 free throws, Skylar Wachter and Jordan Radel had 15 points apiece and Wade Powers scored 14.
