LITTLE FALLS -- The Hanowski brothers and their Flyer teammates erupted for six goals in the third period as Little Falls strafed Willmar 7-1 in Central Lakes Conference boys hockey on Thursday.
Willmar led 1-0 on Jordan Baker's first-period goal through the game's first 24 minutes. Beau Hanowski tied it 1-1 at 10:11 of the second frame.
Ben Hanowski, a junior, scored in the first minute to start the scoring avalanche. Chris Sylvester made it 3-1 on a 2-man advantage and Beau Hanowski scored for a 4-1 lead before Willmar could return to full strength.
Ben finished with two goals and three assists and Beau, a senior, with four goals and one assist.
Sophomore Ben Leitch made his first varsity start. He was given the rest of the night off after the fourth Flyer goal.

"(Leitch) kept us in the game for a long time," said Willmar coach Dan Tollefson. "(The Flyers) were like a Lakers' fast break; pick your pocket, then boom-boom-boom.
"We played them tough for over two periods but got in trouble with penalties and that opened the floodgates."
