LITTLE FALLS -- Unbeaten Morris/Benson Area recorded four goals in the first period en route to an 8-0 win over Becker/Big Lake in the first round of the Little Falls Invitational Tuesday.
Mitch Kleespies started the scoring 19 seconds into the game on assists from Mack Grunig and Jake Erickson. Kleespies also netted the first goal of the second period. Tom Schultz added two goals and Erickson and Carl Lindblad had two assists each.
The Storm (7-0) rattled off 52 shots on goal, while MBA goalie Mitch Grunig had to turn away only 13.
